Disclaimer: About our slogan, “We slay Internet dragons”.

We are aware that there is a difference between the “Internet” and the “Web”.

As pointed out on the Webby Awards website, the Internet is a truly massive network that is made up of other networks—billions of devices connected to millions of networks worldwide all communicating on the same set of protocols. The Web was invented in 1989 by computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee when he published his proposal for a HyperText Project where he called for the creation of “a way to link and access information of various kinds as a web of nodes in which the user can browse at will.” Since then, the Web has become the primary system we use to access information on the Internet.

Our slogan refers to us slaying “Internet” dragons, and when we state this, we take into account that most users do not understand the difference between the “Internet” and the “Web”, so we make a general statement meaning things that, “relate to the Internet” which includes helping people on the World Wide Web. We exercise creative license in our advertising.

FYI: We also have never actually seen a “dragon” in real life, but we refer to this as meaning a “problem” or “issue of inconvenience” online.
